A British woman has accused controversial influenced Andrew Tate of rape and threats.
She claims Tate choked her during sex until she passed out nine years ago. The woman alleged that Tate continued to have sex despite being unconscious.
The woman, then 20, says she first met Tate on social media in August 2014. She said she agreed to have sex with the influence, but the act quickly turned violent.
Tate denies the allegations, and his spokesperson said Tate does not condone violence of any kind against women. All sexual acts in which he took part were consensual.
The British woman said she met Tate at a bar in Luton in 2014 when she was a student. He was a security guard at a nightclub. She says she had sex with Tate once before he strangled her.
“He put his hand around my neck and choked me. At first it was a little confusing, and when I came to, I saw Tate was still having sex with me,” said the British woman, adding that Tate threatened to kill her, until he left her apartment the next morning.
“He kept saying ‘I own you, you belong to me’. He was quite aggressive all night and said horrible things. The next day the white of my eye was completely red,” said the 30-year-old.
She did not report the incident to the police. She replied she did not know at the time that she was the victim of a crime.
“I knew that something happened that I didn’t agree to. But I didn’t see it as rape or sexual assault because it happened 10 years ago,” she said.
