A woman claims that Rammstein lead singer Till Lindemann tried to force her to have sex. The band denies the allegations.
It’s about drugs, sex and violence. About the parties before and after the Rammstein concerts. About the women that Rammstein’s team allegedly brings in from the audience to “entertain” gang members backstage. Also, singer Till Lindemann.
Shelby Lynn from Ireland traveled to the Rammstein concert in the capital of Lithuania, Vilnius. This is where the band started their European tour this year. There she was invited to a pre-concert party and met singer Till Lindemann. According to her, he wanted to have sex with her. She refused, to which Lindemann allegedly reacted aggressively.
In addition, she suspects they gave her some drugs. She says she only had two alcoholic drinks and one shot of tequila. He remembers nothing that happened after that. When she woke up later in the hotel, she felt pain and nausea. She had bruises all over her body. She posted a photo of her injuries on a social network and claimed to have filed a criminal complaint.
On Tuesday, May 30, Lin also announced on Twitter that she had been interrogated by Lithuanian police for five hours via video link.
Singer Lindemann has said nothing about it yet. Rammstein band rejected the accusations on their Twitter profile. Such a thing did not happen in their vicinity, and they are not even aware that the authorities are investigating.
This story circulated on social networks last weekend and caused heated discussions. Some other women came forward anonymously. They reportedly had similar experiences and expressed complete solidarity with Shelby. Other users warn one should be careful with such accusations until nothing is proven.
Fans are asking why Rammstein hasn’t announced their post more clearly. One Instagram user asks:
“Don’t you want to at least try to solve that problem?” The matter is too serious for a single tweet to achieve anything, she says. Rammstein, however, posts nothing more about it, only photos from his concerts.
Shelby Lynn called again. She made it clear on Twitter that Lindemann did not touch her.
“He accepted I didn’t want to have sex with him. I never claimed that he raped me.”
On May 25, 2023, Lynn opened the Twitter account where she announced the accusations against Rammstein with the words:
“I’m the girl who got drugged at Rammstein.” All the posts on that profile are about that case. Lynn also stressed that you should “read all her posts and not jump to conclusions.”
Now it’s up to Lithuanian investigators to clear up the case. Till Lindemann is still presumed innocent. As for Shelby Lynn and the other women making allegations against Lindeman.
